"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the road less travelled by, and that has made all the difference." -Robert Frost

Okay, I am now home from Graham's house and he just left. But yeah, the time I spent there was amazing. But yeah, ummm...today I am giving the Survivor recap from Thursday because I wasn't around the computer on Friday. So here goes:
The gloves came off at Tribal Council, where there was only room for one Rob in the Chapera tribe. Rob Mariano (Marquesas) blatantly broke his newly formed alliance with Rob Cesternino (Amazon) by leading the rest of Chapera to vote him off in a five-to-one decision. After being ousted, the distraught Rob C. complained, "I feel like I was kind of targeted unfairly. It's going to take a little while to swallow this one.
As the rain poured down on the Chapera camp, the castaways huddled under their shelter. Providing some heat during the cool night was the budding relationship between Rob M. and Amber Brkich (Australia) "Boston Rob and Amber are going to do it. I don't know when…but they're gonna do it," concluded Rob C. Over at the Saboga camp, the torrential downpour wreaked major havoc. Due to the massive flooding of their home, Saboga was cast out into the storm with no protection from the harsh elements. Suffering through the sleepless, cold night tormented Rupert (Pearl Islands), who berated himself for building the faulty shelter. Taking it the worst of all, Jerri (Australia) cried; "It's not worth it." Rebounding quickly from the storm, the Mogo Mogo tribe rekindled their fire while finding themselves in good spirits. The good vibe continued as Richard (Borneo), successfully caught three meaty eels to the cheers of his hungry tribemates. After feasting on the delicious eel meat, Lex (Africa), soberly pointed out, "One of the reasons I'm looking so forward to getting the third key to the rice box is that once we have rice, we won't need to rely so heavily on Richard." When the tribes assembled for a Reward Challenge, host Jeff Probst explained that it would be a competition involving memory. Each castaway would receive a box containing four items. The goal was for each Survivor to match an item from their box to an item in another castaway's box. The tribe scoring the most matches would win a badly needed "Survival Bathroom," consisting of a shower, toilet, mouthwash, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, toothbrushes and toothpaste. In addition, the first and second place tribes would get another clue that would help open their lock box of rice. Mogo Mogo struck first blood as Richard marshaled his deduction skills to match a rock from Rob M.'s box. The All-Stars then got on a roll as match after match moved the competition swiftly forward in good cheer. It all came down to Chapera's Alicia (Australia), who correctly guessed what the final item was in the box of Saboga's Jerri, thus securing another victory for Chapera. After enjoying the shampoo and soap, the Chapera castaways set out to solve the clue and find the final key that would open up their box of rice. Desperate to show his tribe that he could contribute, Rob C. obsessively dug for the key in a patch of sand. However, it was Rob M. who found the key first, thus thwarting Rob C.'s efforts while reaffirming his own position as the alpha male within the tribe. After enjoying the much-anticipated meal of rice, Alicia gloated, "We're so far ahead of the other tribes now, it's insane." As the tribes reconvened for the Immunity Challenge, Jeff Probst explained that the tribes would be blindfolded while guided by a "sighted" tribemate to locate pieces to a large three-dimensional cube puzzle. After they brought all the pieces back to a "solving area," the players must then remove their blindfolds and assemble the cube puzzle. The first tribe to successfully complete their puzzle would win, while the last to complete the puzzle must make the terrible trip to Tribal Council. In a frenzied pace, chaos reigned as the blindfolded castaways bumped into other All-Stars while the sighted Survivors shouted over one other to direct their tribemates. Accidents were happening all over the place. Ethan (Africa), threw down his puzzle piece right onto Colby (Australia), Tom (Africa) kept falling down. Lex got lost, while Colby slammed Tom head-on, which sent him flying to the ground. When the comedy of errors was finished, the tribes battled in a close race to finish the puzzle. Saboga placed the final piece of their puzzle first, giving them their first Immunity Challenge victory and leaving Chapera and Mogo Mogo in a fierce battle to avoid Tribal Council. In the end, Mogo Mogo clicked their last puzzle piece into place just in time to beat Chapera, thus sending Chapera to their first Tribal Council of SURVIVOR: ALL-STARS. As losing tribe Chapera returned to camp, questions arose as to which member would be sent home. Rob C., Alicia and Susan (Borneo), were all on the chopping block. The romantic alliance between Amber and Boston Rob seemed to be in control. Easing Rob C.'s fears was the offer of an alliance from Rob M. After they shook hands, Rob C. expressed his skepticism, "I don't know how good Boston Rob's word is…" Boston Rob's word wasn't that good after all, as Rob Cesternino fell victim to a five-to-one rout and watched his torch extinguished along with his hopes and dreams of winning SURVIVOR: ALL-STARS.
Seriously, one of the funniest episodes of my life...the blindfolded immunity challenge caused no end to the tears of laughter that were pouring down my cheeks. I mean between Lex getting lost and Tom's continual falls and then being clocked really hard in the head that sent his hat flying, it was priceless. Anyways, yeah, okay, so that is the survivor update. Now, onto the Jenelle Song Lyrics of the day...I missed Thursday, Friday and now today, so that is three different songs I need to do. Easy enough.
Song #1
Holy Matrimony
Side Walk Slam
You must be the one I’m looking for I can tell by your smile
That you’re the one you’re so beautiful inside and out
Our love we share I will never doubt
There’s nothing you’d ask for that I wouldn’t do
Those words I will promise and I swear to you I love you
It’s been awhile together we stay, my love for you grows
Stronger everyday, I you know by now that I’m always here
No time for tears no room for fears
There’s nothing you’d ask for that I wouldn’t do
Those words I will promise and I swear to you I love you
Song #2
Teddy Bear
Elvis Prestley
Baby let me be,
your lovin' Teddy Bear
Put a chain around my neck,
and lead me anywhere
Oh let me be
Your teddy bear.
I don't wanna be a tiger
Cause tigers play too rough
I don't wanna be a lion
'Cause lions ain't the kind
you love enough.
Just wanna be, your Teddy Bear
Put a chain around my neck
and lead me anywhere
Oh let me be
Your teddy bear.
Baby let me be, around you every night
Run your fingers through my hair,
And cuddle me real tight
Song #3
Marry Me
Dolly Parton
Well I met a boy from Grassy Branch
Fine as he can be
I met him at the big barn dance
And he took a shine to me
Sky-blue eyes, a big wide smile
And tall as a sicamore tree
He's real smart with a real big heart
And he's gonna marry me
He's gonna marry me
And we're gonna go to town
We're gonna buy some real good car
And we're gonna drive around
We'll hold hands an' touch 'n' hug
He talks so sweet to me
Cause he knows a lot about love and stuff
And he's gonna marry me
His momma don't like me one little bit
But you know I don't care
Let her pitch her hissy-fit
Cause I ain't a'marryin' her
He's always been a momma's boy
It's just plain jealousy
She's as mad as an old red hen
Cause he's gonna marry me
Oh, an' he's gonna marry me
An' he's gonna buy me a ring
We're gonna be so free
Cut momma's aprin strings
He's gonna build me a pretty little house
Have a pretty little made-for-three
Cause he done kiss me on the mouth
An' he's gonna marry me
Yeah, he's gonna marry me
He's gonna buy me a ring
We're gonna be so free
Cut momma's aprin strings
He's gonna build me a pretty little house
Have a pretty little made-for-three
Cause he's done kiss me on the mouth
So he's gotta marry me
Yeah he's done kiss me on the mouth
And he's gonna marry me
Yodel-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de
Okay, so that is all I have for today, that was fun wasn't it? Anyways, enjoy, read on everyone!

Umm...yeah, so you all know, I am at Graham's, it was our 2 year aniversary on Thursday, umm...yeah, I will write more later...then you will get the full survivor recap.

I just finished my final exam for High/Scope Philosophy class...I really hate this class...really do, am so happy that it is finally over...I am just waiting for my teacher to make it so that I know what I got in the end of the course...that is making me really really nervous. Alright guys, the time has arrived when Jenelle's final mark in High/scope has come to my attention. On the final test in which I did not study because I have having issues with my eye and such. And I still am...but I will get to all of that after...right now, I need to relieve you of the pressure of thinking that I failed because I didn't...man I am just rambling on and on...okay, on the test I got a 30 out of 35!!!! YAY ME!!! And in a final stretch of the class...the mark that will appear on my report summary is an 80%! Yes, my grade point average will not go down in any way.
Okay, so yeah, my school might be going on strike in a few weeks, that doesn't impress me much because that will screw up everything...because I will have to go to school during the summer and not work at camp...a little nervous about that one.
So um...yeah, Mel Gicson's THE PASSION OF CHRIST is coming out next week, I am really looking forward to seeing it. Umm..here is an article that I read today about it. The timeline leading up to the release of Mel Gibson's The Passion Of The Christ might be compared to the fuse of a firecracker. Spitting and sparking, chasing its own fiery tail in a maelstrom of hype ... and the world can only plug its ears and wait for this religious cherry bomb to explode. Will Gibson's retelling of the last 12 gory hours of Jesus Christ's life leave Christians weeping, non-believers believing, and Jews ready to combat a new wave of dissent? Or will it be a dud, destined to reincarnate as a dusty DVD in the church A/V room? If this much-deliberated film does fizzle, it won't be for a lack of effort from Canadian Christian lobby groups. For months now, several influential interdenominational Christian assemblies working under Campus Crusade For Christ have been pursuing a shrewdly calculated strategy for the marketing of this epic film. After all, this project wasn't going to be hyped up by conventional means — we surely weren't going to see flogged Christ-figures on Burger King cups. The push began in mid-January with a series of 12 screenings in nine Canadian cities over six days. In the end, 9,000 Christian pastors and church leaders — including 2,000 in the GTA — saw the film. The same group subsequently received a DVD featuring previews and in-depth interviews with Mel Gibson, who fronted $25 million (U.S.) to produce the film, and Jim Caviezel, the actor who plays Jesus. In the DVD, Gibson and Caviezel, both Christians, talk about their motivations behind making the film — and their goodwill towards Jews. Also being distributed by the consortium of Christian groups is instructional material, both online and hard copy, designed to help pastors build sermons around the film and to guide parishioners in their mission to share the Christian gospel with non-believers. An example is this excerpt from a document on http://www.sermoncentral.com, which proposes that Christians use the film as an excuse to do a "prayer walk." "Carefully choose a neighborhood you believe God wants you to reach. With multiple prayer teams, walk every street and pray for every house, asking that God would reach each person with the message of the cross through exposure to The Passion Of The Christ. Leave a Door Hanger and/or evangelistic booklet at each home encouraging them to see the movie and inviting them to attend a Passion-related event at your church." It is opening on a whopping 2,000 screens in North America next Wednesday (including about 200 in Canada), which is a big number for an independent film. The highly acclaimed Monster, for instance, which is also distributed by Newmarket Films in the U.S., has just expanded to 1,093 screens in North America. The consortium's aim is to ensure that not only Christians see this film, but their friends and friends' friends see it, too — while making an earnest attempt to stifle fears the film will ignite a rash of anti-Semitism. Owen Black, executive pastor of the Mississauga Gospel Temple — one of three locations the film was shown at in the GTA — makes no bones about the fact that Christian groups will be in full recruitment mode during film's tenure in the limelight. "People are being encouraged to take a non-Christian friend to say, `Look, consider this, what do you think about this?'" he said. "This is a good thing to see, it's a wonderful way to dialogue about the Christian faith." Bob Kraemer, the director of special projects for Campus Crusade For Christ, coordinated the advance screenings. His organization has also developed a Web site (http://www.thelife.com) to help guide Christians who want to share their gospel by means of the film. "We believe that Christians will be deeply touched by this film and we're equipping people so that they will be ready to answer questions for the non-Christian person who goes to this film ... because people will be blown away." In November, Kraemer and 20 other Christian leaders visited Icon Productions, the Gibson-owned outfit that created the film, for a viewing of the then-unfinished film. Having been profoundly affected, the group decided it needed a strategy if it wanted to create maximum impact. The January screenings and tutorial material are a result of that decision. Though the plan is borne of a will to spread the Christian gospel, it will inevitably translate to financial gain for Gibson and his affiliates. A source at Equinoxe Films, the film's Canadian distributor, admitted that the preview series was an example of "grassroots marketing." But Kraemer says it isn't about money. "I think about it in terms of people and seekers of truth being put in touch with the gospel of truth," he said. "I think of it as marketing, but not as dollar and cents, but in terms of a movement. "If Mel Gibson makes money on this, he will have turned around what most people thought was going to be his biggest mistake. It appears it could be successful." Canada's Jewish community, perhaps not surprisingly, wasn't asked to help with the film's promotion. As per direct orders from Icon Productions, members of that faith weren't invited to the private screenings and Rabbi Shmubl Spero has a pretty good idea why. "If the viewing was for mission-izing purposes, I understand why they didn't call me," he said from Anshei Minsk Congregation in Kensington Market. "I guess they don't consider me to be a good promoter." Some Jewish leaders fear the film will damage Jewish-Christian relations. The Passion, interpreted literally from Christian scriptures, implicates Jews with Jesus's brutal death. According to Abraham Foxman, U.S. director of the Anti-Defamation League — an independent Jewish assembly — the film portrays Jews as vengeful and bloodthirsty. Fuelling those arguments is the fact Gibson recently embraced a fringe form of Catholicism known as Traditionalism — a faction that refuses to acknowledge the reforms of the Second Vatican Council in 1965, which absolved the Jews for the killing of Christ. Rabbi Michael Skobac of Jews For Judaism, a Toronto group that focuses specifically on countering Christian attempts to convert Jews, said Canadian Jews shouldn't expect the film to cause a major disruption. "For North Americans, my sense is that one film is not going to undo decades of interfaith relations. My sense is that a lot of the concerns will be more real in Europe and South America where you get more overt acts of anti-Semitism." "What we're monitoring is the fact that Christians will be using this film as a tool to convert people to their faith. Some Jews will be invited by friends, or given free tickets, or cajoled into going." But Skobac said he'd be "surprised" to see demonstrations in Toronto. "Our philosophy here is not to be reactive," he said. "This is nothing new. It's not as if Christians haven't been trying to convert Jews for a long time. We didn't create this organization last night to deal with this film — it's an ongoing struggle to help educate the Jewish community to help them understand the teachings of their own faith." Prompted by the film's upcoming release, the Canadian Jewish Congress issued a statement outlining the discrepancy between Jewish and Christian thought on the circumstances surrounding Jesus's death.
"There are believers who do take all the Gospels literally but it is our understanding that others, equally true to their faith, do not," wrote Keith M. Landy, CJC national president, and Rabbi Dr. Reuven P. Bulka. "... Crucifixion it must be stressed, was a Roman, not Jewish, form of capital punishment ... Historically, therefore, what transpired at the time of Jesus is unclear." But the release went on to say that The Passion Of The Christ should be seen as an opportunity to push Jewish-Christian relations forward. "It is our hope and expectation that, apart from the central role The Passion Of The Christ is to play in moving Christians and strengthening them in their faith, Gibson's film also will be used to foster greater mutual understanding and further demystification of Christian and Jewish beliefs," the memo stated. "In other words, we must not allow the film to be a source of tension; we must translate it into an opportunity." Kraemer and his colleague at Campus Crusade For Christ emphasize this movie is not about the vilification of Jews. "There's no Christian who should leave this movie feeling hatred or bigotry towards the Jews," he said. "What they'll feel is tremendous gratitude for what Jesus did for them." Rabbi Spero, meanwhile, said he hasn't been to the movies in years and doesn't plan to go now. He admits the movie has caused a buzz in his congregation, but no one is losing sleep over it. "For Jewish people, yeah, it's a topic," he said. "But then, we have lots of topics."
Umm...yeah, hope you enjoyed reading that, I sure did. I think that it is going to be an awesome movie, and the contrversy (I can not spell worth beans) surrounding it, I think is a really good thing, this will get the people of this world thinking.
Jenelle's Song Lyric of the Day is from Edwin McCain again..."I could not ask for more"
I Could Not Ask For More
Edwin McCain
Lying here with you
Listening to the rain
Smiling just to see the smile upon your face
These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive
These are the moments
I'll remember all my life
I found all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
Looking in your eyes
Seeing all I need
Everything you are is everything to me
These are the moments
I know heaven must exist
These are the moments I know all I need is this
I have all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you
Every prayer has been answered
Every dream I have's come true
And right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be
Here with you here with me
I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you
Every prayer has been answered
Every dream I have's come true
And right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be
Here with you here with me
I could not ask for more than the love you give me
'Coz it's all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
I could not ask for more
Okay, thats all for today, enjoy the read, comment if you wish.

I'll Be
Edwin McCain
The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath
Emeralds from mountains thrust towards the sky
Never revealing their depth
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above
I'll be your cryin' shoulder
I'll be love suicide
I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life
Rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed
You're my survival, you're my living proof
My love is alive and not dead
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up in the trappings of love
I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above
I've dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in, turned on, remembered the thing you said
Bye Now

Well...today I wanted to write something that actually had meaning, I mean besides my ever fun, if not slightly boring "what did Jenelle do today" scenerios..but I really don't have any idea what to write about, so I'm sorry to say everyone, that today is going to be another boring look at my life. So I just found out today that I did my entire assignment wrong...so I need to redo it...not very impressed about that. But yeah, so my week has started, and it is crazy...I have a midterm in a few hours, and I believe that I am ready for it...I plan to look over my notes again...and hopefully someone can answer my questions about the 6 terms of the first nation. But yeah, ummm...other than that...nothing has happened today. Oh, News for the Camp Hermosa People who read this. KIM AND DANN LEITCH had a baby on Valentine's Day. That's right, you heard me right, a Baby! On February 14th at 12:42 pm, they had a little girl. Her name is Makenna Katherine Audery Leitch. She weighted 8 pounds and 12oz. Apparently the cutest little thing that the Pops family has ever seen.
Oh guess what, I figured out something of interest to talk about. After 43 years as one of the world's prettiest pairs, the perfect plastic couple is breaking up. The couple's "business manager," Russell Arons, vice president of marketing at Mattel, said that Barbie and Ken "feel it's time to spend some quality time -- apart." "Like other celebrity couples, their Hollywood romance has come to an end," said Arons, who quickly added that the duo "will remain friends." Arons denied that there was any truth to rumors that the breakup was linked to the Cali (as in California) Girl Barbie, arriving in stores now. To better reflect her single status, Cali Barbie will wear board shorts and a bikini top, metal hoop earrings, and have a deeper tan. This new style already has attracted a new admirer, Blaine the Australian boogie boarder. Barbie -- the most popular fashion doll in the world, according to toy maker Mattel -- met Ken on the set of a TV commercial in 1961, and they have been inseparable ever since. Arons hinted Wednesday that the separation may be partially due to Ken's reluctance to getting married. All those bridal Barbie dolls in toy chests around the globe are really just examples of Barbie's wishful thinking, she explained. Another possible factor is Barbie's career. The doll who was "born" Barbie Millicent Roberts in 1959 has been everything from a rock star to military medic, and she's currently marketed in more than 150 countries. According to Mattel, every second, three Barbie dolls are sold somewhere in the world. So where does that leave Ken? Said Arons: "He will head for other waves." Personally, I feel that it is about time for them to break up, really Ken was holding Barbie back. I mean, what with his plastic hair and pasted on smile. Apparently, he is now going through a mid-life crisis because he now has permed blond hair...whats with that? Anyways...yeah...thats is all I want to say on that.
Okay, Jenelle's Song Lyrics of the day are..."Are We really Happy with Who We Are Now?" by Moneen. The reason? My brother was listening to this song this morning, so I picked this.
Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Now
Moneen
You said you want it.
You said you need it.
What you don't know is I know,
That you can't get it.
You said you know me.
You know nothing at all.
You said you hate me,
Well believe me I hate you too.
Stop stand down wait,
I don't want to go.
Send me somewhere warm.
Stop stand down wait,
I don't want to go.
We want it all.
They try to stop you from drowning.
They're there to make your life hell.
Just try to stop me from dreaming believing.
Are you really happy?
Ask yourself this time.
Are you really happy with who you are right now?
You said you want it
You said you need it
Well, I'm done like chicken.

So, yeah, it's Sunday, and starting tomorrow, my days are going to be crazy hectic. I have two midterms tomorrow, one tuesday, a FINAL on Wednesday and one on Friday...so it is going to be a busy busy week. But I am looking forward to the end.
So, here is my thought for the day, I extremely detest people who make a huge deal about needed to do more for the young people in the churches, but then when the young people try to do something, they laugh in their faces and tell them not to do it anymore. I mean, what do they expect? It is just so frustrating, today I was almost ready to walk from my church and find a new one, but I know that if I do that, then my young people will have nothing and no one. Its just an all around bad situation.
So tonight, I went to visit my family, my dad's side of the family to be exact...my mother's side doesn't usually get along that great, so we rarely see each other. But my dad's side gets together fairly often, as often as our schedules allow us to. But a good time was had by all...the three siblings (my dad and his brother and sister) did some memory lane stuff which is always funny for my cousins and myself...mainly because it always involves someone getting hurt or a dog flying out the window of a fast moving vehicle. Thats a good one. But yeah, ummm...other than that...it was a normal evening, complete with the ceremonious setting the table cloth on fire, (thanks for that Aunt Dayle) We were going to watch "Finding Nemo" but we had to get home, I have never watched Finding Nemo, but I want to...so there is another suggestion for movies to watch this weekend Graham, (Finding Nemo and the Holy Grail movie) It will be fun.
I believe that is all I have news wise for today, I have complained about things...oh there was another mishap with the drum set, seriously, no one should let me touch it...it only hurts me and those around me.
Okay, I don't know what song to use today...let's see....Oh, how about that great song by Kenny Chesney "You Had Me from Hello."
You Had Me From Hello
Kenny Chesney
One word, that's all you said
Somethin' in your voice caused me to turn my head.
Your smile, just captured me
And you were in my future as far as I could see
And I don't know how it happened, but it happened still
You asked me if I love you, if I always will
Well you, had me from "Hello"
I felt love start to grow
The moment that I looked into your eyes, you owned me
It was over from the start
You completely stole my heart
And now you won't let go
I never even had a chance you know
You had me from "Hello"
Inside, I built the walls
So high around my heart, I thought I'd never fall
One touch, you brought it down
The bricks of my defenses scattered on the ground
And I swore to me I wasn't gonna love again
The last time was the last time, I let someone in
But you, had me from "Hello"
I felt love start to grow
The moment that I looked into your eyes, you owned me
It was over from the start
You completely stole my heart
And now you won't let go
I never even had the chance you know
You had me from "Hello"
That's all you said
Somethin' in your voice caused me to turn my head
You had me from "Hello"
You had me from "Hello"
Girl I've loved you from "Hello"

I found that this morning I had a bit of time to kill before Graham gets here, so I thought that now was as good of time as any to get the whole BLOGGING adventure out of the way. Now, seeing as it is only 8:30 in the morning, and nothing has in fact happened yet today, I thought I would take the time to give you all my favourite quotes from Movies, Television and general everyday fun stuff...so here goes.

Okay, all, that is all she wrote. Jenelle's song lyric of the day is by the great group Letters to Cleo. It is "I want you to want me."
I Want You to Want Me
Letters to Cleo
* I want you to want me
I need you to need me
I'd love you to love me
I'm beggin' you to beg me
I want you to want me
I need you to need me
I'd love you to love me
I'll shine up my old brown shoes
Put on a brand new shirt
Get home early from work
If you say that you love me
Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you cryin'
Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you cryin'
Feeling all alone without a friend you know you feel like dying
Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you cryin'
[Repeat *]
I want you to want me
I need you to need me
I'd love you to love me
I'm beggin' you to beg me
I want you to want me
I want you to want me
I want you to want me
I want you to want me
Have a great day everyone
Friday, February 13, 2004
Well, it is Friday the 13th, and usually I am not given to believeing in the whole superstition of this day, but sometimes, you just have to wonder whats going on in the world on this day...maybe there is some evil forces at work, maybe it is just in the minds of people...but it is curious as to why bad things always seem to happen on the 13th when it falls on a Friday. I have just heard through several people, so bad, annoying or downright scary things that have happened to people already today...Not just you Graham, but other people too. It really makes me wonder sometimes....
But yeah. Other than that my day has been fairly uneventful, I watched the sappy episodes of the soaps...man, they are cheesy to start with but when you mix in Valentine's Day...it is just bad. But what I really want to talk about is last nights Survivor. That was the saddest episode I have seen since Michael fell in the fire in Survivor Austrailia, I mean, I never really liked Jenna M, (winner of Amazon) but that was just bad. She was so upset and then everyone cried so of course I cried too...what else is new though right? I better explain what happened, just so you all know...but I feel it best to start from the begining of the episode. So, as the sun rose over the Mogo Mogo camp, the castaways struggled with the painful bug bites that covered their bodies. Jenna M. was having an especially difficult time with the bites, as well as with her depression. This was not lost on her tribemates. "Jenna's hurting; Jenna wants to go home.… Now she's not even drinking enough. She's kind of a wandering zombie," noted Kathy (Marquesas). Meanwhile, while fishing for rays, castaway Richard (winner, Borneo) came across a shark. Hatch, never one to back down in a confrontation, engaged the shark in a fierce battle. After the shark had bitten him, Richard responded by actually biting the shark back. When he returned to camp, his tribemates couldn't believe it. "Richard Hatch is a fishing God!" exclaimed Shii Ann (Thailand). Over at Saboga, after losing the first two Immunity Challenges, the tribe felt the need to be productive. As the tribe built a table, Rupert (Pearl Islands) caught a fish for lunch (shocked? I'm not). Shortly after Rupert returned with the fish, Ethan (winner Africa) not to be outdone, took the spear in order to catch one himself. "I like being the fisherman," explained Rupert, "I know he wants to be too, but it can't be competition between he and I. It will just hurt his emotions." When they checked their Tree Mail, the tribes were surprised to find a box filled with tools from Home Depot. As the Tree Mail explained, this was all part of a Reward Challenge. Using the tools provided, each tribe had 24 hours to build a home at their camp. When the 24 hours had elapsed, host Jeff Probst would bring a judge to rate each home on size, strength and creativity. The winning tribe would receive a surprise Reward, airdropped into their camp, as well as a clue to the location of a key to one of the locks on their mystery box. The second-place tribe would also receive a clue to the location of a key to one of the locks on their own mystery box. The Chapera tribe started the Challenge by electing a leader, Rob M (Marquesas) who had experience at building homes. As the tribe started on what would become their home, Rob took control with authority. "When I saw him building that shelter, he was pretty hot building that shelter," admired Amber (Austrailia), "He's good at doing what he does." (This made me laugh a whole lot, these two flirt far too much, but it is humourous). Over at Saboga, Rupert took the leadership role with the idea of building a log cabin. Tempers immediately flared as Jerri (Austrailia), disagreed with Rupert's designs for the home. But really, if a tribe has Jerri on the team, there is going to be some rage there. Meanwhile, Mogo Mogo was busy working away on a tree house. While Colby (Austrailia) and Lex (Africa), worked on the structure, Shii Ann and Jenna were brainstorming the creative touches. However, Colby and Lex were less than interested in the girls' ideas, and the actual building of the home took a front seat to the luxury of creativity. This caused a rift between the men and women of Mogo Mogo. Which is always exciting when the men and women don't get along. The following day, Jeff Probst showed up at each camp with a licensed contractor from Panama who would decide the winner of this Reward Challenge. The judge inspected all three homes with a keen eye and strict builder's code in mind. He shook the buildings, which also made me laugh because man, the tribes were mad. The winner would be notified by an airdrop of mystery supplies. The tribes waited as the plane crossed over all three camps. As the plane dropped its bounty over the victorious Chapera camp, the tribe rejoiced as they opened the box to find mats, blankets and wine. Of course there was wine, how else would the tribemates get drunk and humourous. After a vicious rainstorm, Jenna M (Amazon) announced to her tribe that it was time for her to go home. "She's finally collapsing," explained Kathy (Marquesas), "Her Mom is in a cancer rehab home. She should not be here." Which I agree with, Jenna should have never came back to Survivor, I don't care if you love the game, your family needs you more, which might just be me, but if you agree with me, let me know, that is what the comment thing is for. As the tribes convened for an Immunity Challenge, Jenna M shocked the other tribes by pulling herself out of the game. In an extremely emotional speech, Jenna explained that she had made a bad judgment by becoming an All-Star, and that she was needed at home. (Duh!) Jeff Probst then announced that both the Immunity Challenge and Tribal Council would be cancelled because Jenna M would be leaving the game. Jenna bade a tearful goodbye to all the castaways, then boarded the boat for the first leg of her journey home to her mother. Eight days after Jenna returned home, her mother lost her battle with cancer. This is where I broke down and cried, it was just too sad!
Okay, that was the longest recap ever! But a lot happened, and I wanted this to be more of a summary of Survivor. But because it is so long, I think I will just move on to the Jenelle Song Lyric of the Day...in honour of Valentine's Day tomorrow, "My Funny Valentine" by Elvis Costello.
My Funny Valentine
Elvis Costello
My funny valentine, sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable, unphotographable
But you're my favourite work of art
Is your figure less than Greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?
Don't change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine, stay
Each day is Valentine's day
(I don't really know about this...is he saying that I am ugly? What?)
Umm...lets do another one, just for fun, and because I want to see how long I can really make this...hopefully people read the entire Blog and don't just stop in the middle, that would be insulting...okay, "My Valentine" by Martina McBride.
My Valentine
Martina McBride
If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you
And even if the sun refuse to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
You're all i need
My love, my valentine
All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And showed me how to love unselfishly
I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
In my dreams i couldnt love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time
You're all i need
My love, my valentine
La da da
Da da da da
And even if the sun refuse to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
Cuz all i need
Is you, my valentine
You're all i need
My love, my valentine
Okay, not sure if I will be writing a BLOG tomorrow or not, we will see how I feel. So Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Okay, I am starting off with this...
You are Romans.
Which book of the Bible are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
I thought I would paste that in before I forgot it was even there. But yeah, the book of Romans....I don't know about that...I mean, I like the book of Romans...but I don't know, what do you all think on that one? But yeah, moving on. School today was horrible and boring and yeah. My teacher had us doing an assignment that would take us the entire class and it needed to be handed in before we left...then he proceeded to talk for half of the class and then tell us we better hurry or we wouldn't get it done. How dumb is that? So I was already pretty pissed off (pardon that, but I was frustrated) that my partner was there yet, so I was snapping at her the whole time, and then to be rushed was not a fun experience. But yeah...that was that.
So, Valentine's Day is the day after tomorrow, I really like Valentine's day...it is even better when you have some one to share it with, which I do (for those who don't know...which really is none of you, but I want to mention it anyways, my boyfriend is Graham, you can check out his site too...it is linked with mine. But seriously, he is the greatest guy even and I love him to bits.) YAY ME! But yeah, it is just a fun time of year really. So, for all of you who read this, that have a special person in mind, be really good to them this year, we all deserve it. And if you don't have someone, thats okay, I am still here for all of you...go out and buy yourself something pretty or fun.
Okay, now that I rambled on about that, I believe I am out of things to say...how often do you hear me say that? Come on now...maybe I will do one more quizz...let me see what I can find...I will make it good.
Your Captain Kathryn Janeway. Your a kind of mother
figure on your ship and you'll do what ever it
takes to keep your crew safe...
Which Star Trek Captain are You??
brought to you by Quizilla
Okay, who really cares about that, another one, that was boring
Fine, the quizzes don't want me to do anymore...how boring is that...so just enjoy what I have posted. Yay Captain Janeway! Wahoo! *yawn* I am not a Trekie person
Okay, Jenelle's Song Lyrics of the Day is a song called "Mistakes I've Made" it is by Katie Holmes...yep that annoying girl from Dawson's Creek who could decide who she loved more...yeah her...
Mistakes I've Made
Katie Holmes
It really is a miracle that I have come this far.
Without a hope without a prayer without a guiding star.
In spite of my nativity and many dreams betrayed,
I know I would not be here now
but for Mistakes I Made
But for Mistakes I Made
Who knows who I might be
Some other heart some other soul
Some other destiny
But for the times I took a wrong turn unafraid
I might have missed it all
But for Mistakes I Made
So many times I've tried to change things out of my control.
The jealousy and all the rage that swallowed me up whole.
The years that I spent loving those who did not feel the same.
The times I didn't trust myself with only me to blame.
But for Mistakes I Made
Who knows where I might be
Some other place some other time
Some other destiny
But for the times I took a wrong turn unafraid
I might have missed it all
But for Mistakes I Made
These things have taught me what is real
How to laugh how to cry how to love without regret
and when to say hello..or goodbye
I know whatever comes my way my dues have all been paid.
For you would not be in my life, but for Mistakes I Made
But for Mistakes I Made
Who knows who I might be
Some other heart some other soul
Some other destiny
But for the times I took a wrong turn unafraid
I might have missed it all
But for Mistakes I Made
I might have missed it all
But for Mistakes I Made
The End, enjoy!

Whoa, what is with Wednesday...why was it so early when I woke up last night. It didn't help that I ate a piece of pie that I was assured had nothing deadly for me in it, but it turned out that it did and I had to take Bendryl and I didn't fall alseep until close to 1 in the morning and I had to be at school for 8, so I am still feeling the effect of that. Not too impressed with now. Wow, I have other people hooked on those stupid quizzes...but they gave everyone something to do did they not? But yeah, today is really boring, all we did was presentations, and they were good, but so long and not active, and there was pinching involved...don't ask...it wasn't pretty. But yeah, last night I watched Gilmore Girls, it was so good, but I didn't like the ending of it, HE JUST WALKED AWAY!!! WHO TELLS SOMEONE THAT THEY LOVE THEM AND THEN JUST LEAVES!!!!!But yeah, umm...wow, how boring am I? I can only write two lines before I get bored and need a change. BOO for that. So because I am so boring, I will just do more quizzes

Okay, I think that is all the ones I will post for now...I thought they were fun, although, personally I am not in the right frame of mind right now...okay, Jenelle Song Lyric of the Day....Dashboard Confessional's "For Justin"
For Justin
Dashboard Confessional
It's been a year now, since you were here now
And I've been trying to heal inside
Dedications have all been placed
And I see your resemblance in my face
And on our birthday I said an extra wish for you, for you
And I have learned so much since you've been gone
And I have done so little for so long
So now I'll settle up these grievances and focus on the savory
And wave all these discrepancies away
And I'll peter out these misconceptions, give out faith at my discretion
Live a life that you would think was sane, sane
Displaying changes, being made
And I wonder if you ever really wanted it this way
And in your memory they even hung a plaque for you, for you
And I have learned so much since you've been gone
And I have done so little for so long
So now I'll settle up these grievances and focus on the savory
And wave all these discrepancies away
And I'll peter out these misconceptions, give out faith at my discretion
Live a life that would think was sane, sane
Okay all, that is all for today, enjoy, comment, whatever!

You can really tell the evenings when Jenelle is really bored, tons and tons of quiz results appear on my BLOGGIE thingy. But this one, I really truly believe, I was hoping to be Piglet because he's so cute and pink and little, but mother Kanga also works for me...I mean...I think I am a natural...you can disagree...thats what the comment page is for
Well, Tuesday is upon me, and the stresses of school are getting to be a little too much for me. I am so ready for a break. But things are only going to get worse before I can have one of those. Midterms are coming, I have two on Monday, one Tuesday, one wednesday and one thursday, and then I get my week off. I also have 5 assignments to hand in next week...and I have finished 4 of them. What I need is things to look forward to, so that I can make it through the next week and a half. Mainly, the things that are happening in the future to look forward to is...Valentine's Day and Graham and My 2 year. Thats basically it right now...I can finish everything when I look towards them. Yeah, okay, I am done that section. What else can I tell you about today. Oh, I got a Valentine's Day card today, which was really sweet. I got it from Lauren. For thos who don't know Lauren, or don't remember Lauren, she worked at camp with me this summer, she worked in the kitchen and she goes to ABU. She is friends with Craig, for those of you who don't know Craig, we went to BL together and he was Graham's room mate. Ummm...thats really all that I have today....my brother's new girlfriend is coming to dinner tonight, that will be fun. Anyways...I need to get going because class is about to start. So, Jenelle's song lyrics of the day...is "Cotton Eye Joe" in anticipation of Jen's wedding...it is pretty short, so I am going to put in two.
Cotton Eye Joe
Rednex
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
He came to town like a midwinter storm
He rode through the fields so hansome and strong
His eyes was his tools and his smile was his gun
But all he had come for was having some fun
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
He brought disaster wherever he went
The hearts of the girls was to hell broken sent
They all ran away so nobody would know
and left only men cause of Cotton-Eye Joe
Gotta work...
Now everybody dance!
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'ld been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
Hmm?
That was pretty boring, the same verse over and over. So, the second one is by Tiffany, it is "I think we're alone now"
I Think We're Alone Now
Tiffany
Children behave
that's what they say when we're together
and watch how you play
they don't understand
and so we're
Chorus:
Running just as fast as we can
holdin' on to one another's hand
tryin' to get away into the night
and then you put your arms around me
and we tumble to the ground
and then you say
I think we're alone now
there doesn't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
the beating of our hearts is the only sound
Look at the way
we gotta hide what we're doin'
'cause what would they say
if they ever knew
and so we're
Repeat chorus
I think we're alone now
there doesn't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
the beating of our hearts is the only sound
Thats all for today, enjoy everyone, read, comment, laugh, cry, do whatever you want.

| ENFP - "Journalist". Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama. 8.1% of total population. |
|
Well, we are back to Monday and I am back in school for the week. So far, I am actually liking this week, not sure exactly why that is, maybe it's because it is week 6, and Reading Week is coming, I will enjoy my reading week, I need a break...I really do. The stress is getting to me. Thankfully, my teacher understands us and has given us an extension for the major assignment that was due next week, he moved it to the week after reading week...which is good, because I was no where near finished it. Last night I went all the way back to Kitchener to take my sister home, and let me tell you, I was exhausted by the time I got home, all I wanted to do was go to bed...but no, that was not allowed, my mom wanted to stay up and talk...mainly she wanted someone to watch Charmed with her...I had already seen it, but it was a good episode, so I didn't mind staying up at all. I mean, it confirmed all my suspicions about Chris, for those who don't watch Charmed...thats just too bad...but it turns out that Chris is Piper and Leo's other son...which I thought all along. Okay, but here is the thing that bothered me during the watching of Charmed, was their misrepresentation of Wyatt's social development. Me, being an ECE student, (who is graduating in June, YAY ME!) was really bothered, because they kept commenting on how Wyatt was 1 YEAR OLD and antisocial...OF COURSE HE IS ANTI-SOCIAL, HE IS ONLY 1 YEAR OLD! Toddlers do not have friends. According to Mildred Parten, there are six stages of play...Wyatt being 1 year old, is in the first stage...which is solitary play, that means he doesn't play with other children...they don't start playing with other children until they are close to 5 years old...even if it looks like a 3 year old is playing with others, let me tell you, he isn't, really, he's not.
Okay, so today, I am going to try an opinion piece, I read this on the internet the other day, because I have an assignment due about this...and I wasn't too impressed...apparently the Liberal Government is making a crackdown on absenteeism in child care centres. If a child is absent more than 26 days during the year, then the centre will be fined. These 26 days include holidays where the centre isn't even open! Some how, I do not think this is far....this is depriving the parents and the children of quality time together...sometimes parents just keep their children home to spend the day together...not fair, nor fair at all. Junior Family Minister Carole Theberge explained the stiffer rules are necessary because the government wastes $29 million a year funding empty places when those spots could be offered to children on waiting lists. Who cares, I say that it shouldn't matter how much money is being wasted if families get to spend more time together...in my mind....families are more important that government.
Okay, thats all the opinions I have for right now...so as I promised, todays JENELLE SONG LYRIC OF THE DAY is "American Pie", by Don McLean.
American Pie
Don McLean
A long, long time ago I can still remember how that music used to make me smile and I knew if I had my chance that I could make those people dance and maybe they'd be happy for a while but February made me shiver with every paper I delivered, bad news on the door step, I couldn't take one more step, I can't remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride but something touched me deep inside, the day, the music, died. So...
CHORUS
Bye, bye Miss American Pie drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry an them good ol' boys were drinkin whiskey and rye singin this will be the day that I die, this will be the day that I die.
Did you write the book of love and do you have faith in God above, if the bible tells you so, and do you believe in rock n' roll, can music save your mortal soul and can you teach me how to dance real slow? Well I know that you're in love with him cuz I saw you dancin in the gym you both kicked off your shoes and I dig those rhythm and blues. I was a lonely teenage bronkin buck with a pink carnation and a pick up truck but I knew I was out of luck, the day, the music, died. I started singin...
Chorus
Now for ten years we've been on our own and moss grows fat on a rollin stone but that's not how it used to be, when the jester sang for the king and queen in a coat he borrowed from James Dean and a voice that came from you and me, oh and while the king was looking down, the jester stole his thorny crown the courtroom was adjourned, no verdict was returned, and while Lenin read a book on Marx, the quartet practiced in the park and we sang dirges in the dark, the day, the music, died. We were singin...
Chorus
Helter Skelter in a summer swelter the birds flew off with a fallout shelter, eight miles high and fallin fast, its the land that falled on the grass the players tried for a forward pass with the jester on the sidelines in a cast, now the half-time air was sweet perfume while the sergeants played a marching tune we all got up to dance oh but we never got the chance oh as the players tried to take the field the marching band refused to yield do you recall what was revealed, the day, the music, died. We started singin...
Chorus
Oh and there we were all in one place, a generation lost in space with no time left to start again, so come on, Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack Flash sat on a candle stick because fire is the devils only friend, oh and as I watched him on the stage, my hands were clinched in fists of rage, no angel born in hell could break that satan's spell and as the planes climbed high into the night to light the sacrificial right I saw satan laughing with delight, the day, the music, died. He was singin...
Chorus
I met a girl who sang the blues and I asked her for some happy news but she just smiled and turned away, I went down to the sacred store where I'd heard the music years before but the man there said the music wouldn't play and in the streets the children screamed, the lovers cried, and the poets dreamed but not a word was spoken, the church bells all were broken and the three men I admire most, the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, they caught the last train for the coast, the day, the music, died, and they were singin...
Chorus
They were singin... Bye, bye Miss American Pie drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry an them good ol' boys were drinkin whiskey and rye singin this will be the day that I die.
Okay, thats all for today...write, comment, whatever.

Which Angel would you be? By Angel |
I don't know, I mean, I'm big on the whole love thing...but would you really describe me as an angel of love? Anyone care to field that question? Anyone at all???
I find that once again, I do not feel "in the mood" to be writing here...I am sorry if that upsets people who depend on something like this to keep them going, but c'est la vie.
Umm...yeah, I am basically spending my day lounging around, I play to go to bed as soon as I finish writing this, I am just exhausted in every sense of the word. I also plan to watch some DVDs for awhile, maybe some Shrek or Sweet Home Alabama....or I might even live a little and watch The Italian Job again, or Daredevil...my sister came home and brought some DVDs with her, what can I say.
So, I had band practice last night, I my brother hit me with the drums, but I don't want to talk about it. So, thats all I will say on that.
I had a new kid in my sunday school class, which is nice, I like new people, and he seemed to enjoy it, said he would come back and he asked me about camp, which I also like.
Okay, I am just fading and losing it quick, so I am going to close with my song lyrics for the day...I think I will use "Sweet Home Alabama." by Lynyrd Skynyrd .
Sweet Home Alabama
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Big wheels keep on turning
Carry me home to see my kin
Singing songs about the Southland
I miss Alabamy once again
And I think its a sin, yes
Well I heard mister Young sing about her
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don't need him around anyhow
Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet Home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you
In Birmingham they love the governor
Now we all did what we could do
Now Watergate does not bother me
Does your conscience bother you?
Tell the truth
Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet Home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you
Here I come Alabama
Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
And they've been known to pick a song or two
Lord they get me off so much
They pick me up when I'm feeling blue
Now how about you?
Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet Home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you
Sweet home Alabama
Oh sweet home baby
Where the skies are so blue
And the governor's true
Sweet Home Alabama
Lordy
Lord, I'm coming home to you
Yea, yea Montgomery's got the answer
Now, I don't know why I picked this one...I was going to use American Pie, but maybe tomorrow...we'll see. Bye

I do not feel like writing a BLOG today, but look here I am writing, writing, writing. This however will not be long. I went out, I did stuff, I came home.
Okay, I will be a little more detailed than that. I went to the dress place and got my dress fitting, seriously, I have gained weight because it no longer fit me...I had to suck in...I never have to suck in...but yeah, they fitted me, and now I am finished with that, I just have to pick the dress up on April 17th. Always a good time. Then we ran around town, we looked at the Holiday Inn because that is where the out of town guests are staying for the wedding...it is really nice...I want to stay there! It's only $105/night. But yeah...that is all I got...I want to just go to bed, but of course, I have band practice tonight, so that is out of the question. BOOO that!
Anyways, JENELLE SONG LYRIC OF THE DAY is........"Fishin' in the Dark" by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Fishin' in the Dark
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Lazy yellow moon comin’ up tonite,
Shinin’ thru the trees,
Crickets are singin’ and lightning bugs
Are floatin on the breeze
Baby get ready.....
Across the field where the creek turns back by the ole stump road
I’m gonna take you to a special place that nobody knows
Baby get ready.....ooooooooooo
You and me going fishing in the dark,
Lying on our backs and counting the stars
Where the cool grass grows.
Down by the river in the full moon light,
We’ll be fallin’ in love in the middle of the night
Just movin’ slow...
Stayin’ the whole night thru, feels so good to be with you...
Spring is almost over and the summer’s come
And the days are gettin’ long
Waited all winter for the time to be right, just to take you along
Baby get ready.....
And it don’t matter if we sit forever and the fish don’t bite
Jump in the river and cool ourselves from the heat of the night
Baby get ready.....ooooooooooo.
Repeat the chorus (x3)
You and me going fishin in the dark!
Thats it. Bye

Well, it is Friday, finally...now unfortuately this may be a short one today because my head is throbbing and I am leaving soon for Kitchener, I have to go and pick up my sister for the weekend. Yippee! So yeah, I have been working on my homework ever since I got up at noon today, yeah I know, its a tough life. I am almost done my assignment though, which makes me happy. But then I have to start the second one, which is also due in a couple weeks...seriously it's just too stressful. I was going to make this BLOG an opinion piece...just to prove to everyone that I do have opinions and I do now stuff...but then I decided that I didn't care and my head hurt too much to think.
Oh, survivor was on last night, it was alright, I don't know, I'm not liking this one all that much, maybe it is because I know all the people already, and nothing they do is surprising...but yeah...it was interesting...Saboga won reward and were nice enough to share with everyone...although, if they had turned it down for the blankets...that would have been just dumb! But then, in the immunity challenga, I had to shake my head because they made the biggest mistake ever! They climbing into their boat while it was still filling with water and submerged it again! How dumb are they? But in the end, they kept Ethan, which was smart and got rid of 75 year old Navy Seal Rudy...will it be the right thing to have done? We'll see.
Okay, this has been short, I know, but JENELLE'S SONG LYRICS OF THE DAY, I found myself singing this song all morning, I don't know why, but it has now made the list. It is "At Last", by Celine Dion...now I don't think she was the original singer...but these were the only lyrics I could find..so here we go
At Last
Celine Dion
At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
Ohh yeah yeah
At last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you
I found a dream, that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known
Ohh yeah yeah
You smile, you smile
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine at last
I found a dream, that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known
Ohh yeah yeah
You smile, you smile
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine at last
At last... at last
There we go, done for the day, enjoy, comment, have fun.

Well, honestly I wasn't going to even write today because I don't really feel like it because I am horribly horribly sick...I know, I am always sick, but this time, I am REALLY SICK! I couldn't even move last night, it was just bad...but I am writing anyways. I am at school....it is the last day of my school week...which is nice, and my sister is coming home tomorrow, which is always fun. I haven't heard from Pops yet, so I am not sure that I am going to camp this weekend or not...but it doesn't look like it. Oh well, I will survive.
So yeah, I'm at school, in my School Age Care class...I just got my test back, I got an 18/20...which is good, I am really happy about that. YAY ME!! But yeah, that is the only mark I have back for any of my classes, which doesn't really give me a nice stand point going into the final weeks of my college years...seriously guys, I only have 9 more weeks left before I graduate and have to go out into the real world. Thats kinda scary..don't you think?
Hmm...what else to write about??? Oh, I watched The Bachalorette and American Idol last night. They were both really good last night. The Bachalorette picked all the people that I wanted her to stay, so she is down to Lanny, Matthew, Chad and Ian...I really want Lanny to win, he is a Southern Baptist Preacher's Son. On American Idol, they got rid of Scooter Girl, I was very disappointed about that, but oh well...we will all move on.
Okay, that is all that I have for right now...JENELLE'S SONG LYRICS OF THE DAY!!!! ummm..son, song, song...why don't I just use "Son of a Preacher Man" By Dusty Springfield
Son of a Preacher Man
Dusty Springfield
Billy-Ray was a Preacher's son,
And when his daddy would visit he'd come along,
When they gathered round and started talking,
That's when Billy would take me walking,
Through the back yard we'd go walking,
Then he'd look into my eyes,
Lord knows to my suprise:
The only one who could ever reach me,
Was the son of a preacher man,
The only boy who could ever teach me,
Was the son of a preacher man,
Yes he was, he was, oh yes he was.
Being good isn't always easy,
No matter how hard I tried,
When he started sweet talking to me,
he'd come tell me everything is alright,
he'd kiss and tell me everything is alright,
Can I get away again tonight?.
The only one who could ever reach me,
Was the son of a preacher man,
The only boy who could ever teach me,
Was the son of a preacher man,
Yes he was, he was, oh yes he was.
How well I remember,
The look that was in his eyes,
Stealing kisses from me on the sly,
Taking time to make time,
Telling me that he's all mine,
Learning from each others knowing,
Looking to see how much we'd grown.
The only one who could ever reach me,
Was the son of a preacher man,
The only boy who could ever teach me,
Was the son of a preacher man,
Yes he was, he was, oh yes he was.
Well, thats all for today, keep on commenting, I love to heard everyone's opinions

And then I moved on to the movie, and the first time I did it I was Sunset Blvd. Now I am...
Agree? Disagree? Let me know
create your own visited states map
or write about it on the open travel guide
Well, today has been really uneventful...really, seriously, it has been boring. My classes were cancelled! I have had more classes cancelled in this one semester than all the others combined! It seems like at least one a week is cancelled, more often 2 or 3! How am I benefiting from this? besides sleeping more...but that isn't good. Umm...at least I got a lot of homework finished today, I am one step closer to finishing one assignment, only 20 more to go. No, thats not true, I have 6 left after this one is finished. But yeah...
Not too much to say other than that...I went to a Deacon's meeting at my church last night, it was uneventful, but we managed to get the ball rolling on a Youth Event that is being planned. Which makes me beyond happy.
Apparently my sister is coming home this weekend, that makes me happy, because I haven't seen her in a while, and I might be getting my dress fitted, that is, if I don't end up going to Hermosa Winter Retreat...we will see.
Okay, that is all...oh, I really suggest that everyone checks out the site http://www.similarminds.com It is really fun, I found out that I am the classic movie of Sunset Blvd! Not bad eh....I would link it...but I really don't know how to do all the fancy stuff yet...I will have to get Graham to teach me some things.
Umm...yeah, okay, JENELLE SONG LYRICS OF THE DAY!!! Not sure what song to use today...umm..thinking, thinking...."Gone Country" by Alan Jackson, because I think it applies to me, I kinda went country myself...p.s I still want a cowgirl hat
Gone Country
Alan Jackson
she's been playing in a room on a strip
For ten years in vegas
Every night she looks in the mirror
But she only ages
She's been reading about nashville and all
The records that everybody's buying
Says 'i'm a simple girl myself
Grew up on long island'
So she packs her bags to try her hand
Says this might be my last chance
She's gone country, look at them boots
She's gone country, back to her roots
She's gone country, a new kind of suit
She's gone country, here she comes
Well the folk scene is dead
But he's holding out in the village
He's been writing songs speaking out
Against wealth and privilege
He says 'i dont believe in money
But a man could make him a killin'
Cause some of that stuff don't sound
Much different than dylan
I hear down there it's changed you see
They're not as backwards as they used to be'
He's gone country, look at them boots
He's gone country, back to his roots
He's gone country, a new kind of suit
He's gone country, here he comes
He commutes to L.A
But he's got a house in the valley
But the bills are piling up
And the pop scene just ain't on the rally
He says 'honey i'm a serious composer
Schooled in voice and composition
But with the crime and the smog these days
This ain't no place for children
Lord it sounds so easy it shouldn't take long
Be back in the money in no time at all'
He's gone country, look at them boots
He's gone country, back to his roots
He's gone country, a new kind of suit
He's gone country, here he comes
Yeah he's gone country, a new kind of walk
He's gone country, a new kind of talk
He's gone country, look at them boots
He's gone country, oh back to his roots
He's gone country
He's gone country
Everybody's gone country
Yeah we've gone country
The whole world's gone country
Wow, thats all for today ya'll, keep leaving comments, I like them. Love ya all!

I am so glad to see that so many people actually read this...sometime I think I am only writing this for my own amusment...but to know that some people actually read it...makes me feel really special. And I really like feeling special, ask anyone really.
Wow, it would seem that today, I seriously have nothing to say...how sad and shocking is that? Finally, Jenelle is silent...nothing to complain about or declare or anything. Oh wait...it is snowing again...actually I think it might be raining instead. BOO! Seriously, the snow is really pretty and all...but when is it going to stop? I don't want winter anymore. Okay, that is my complaint for the day.
Okay, so last night, I just spent the evening relaxing. So I watched 3 reality shows...I don't understand the appeal of these types of shows, but I find myself strangely drawn to them...so last night I watched American Idol...in which they are sending 117 people on to round two, where they will cut it down to 32 finalists, which could be really fun to watch. Then I watched My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance, that was an interesting show...I mean, it was funny in a sick and twisted sort of way...and then I finished off the evening with Average Joe: Hawaii. It was pretty good, but she got rid of the guy that I thought should win...so I don't know how much longer I will continue to watch it.
Okay, umm...yeah, I am out of things to write...so JENELLE'S SONG LYRICS OF THE DAY is "John Deere Green" by Joe Diffie. This song reminds me again of this summer and how much I miss my little tractor. Hopefully I will be back next summer so I can drive more.
John Deere Green
Joe Diffie
They were farm kids way down in Dixie
They met in high school in the sixties
Everyone knew it was love from the start
One July in the midnight hour
He climed the water tower
Stood on the rail and painted a 10ft heart
In John Deere green
On a hot summer night
He wrote Billy Bob loves Charlene
In letters 3ft high
And the whole town said that he should have used red
But it looked good to Charlene
In John Deere green
They settled down on 80 acres
Raising sweet corn,kids and tomato's
They went together like a hand and a glove
On a clear day from their front yard
If you look and know what to look for
Off to the east you can still read his words of love
In John Deere green
On a hot summer night
He wrote Billy Bob loves Charlene
In letters 3ft high
And the whole town siad that he should have used red
But it looked good to Charlene
In John Deere green
Now more then once the town has discovered
Painting over it ain't no use
There ain't no paint in the world that'll cover it
The heart keeps showing through
In John Deere green
On a hot summer night
He wrote Billy Bob loves Charlene
In letters 3ft high
And the whole town siad that he should have used red
But it looked good to Charlene
In John Deere green
Ahh,paint it green boy
In John Deere green
On a hot summer night
He wrote Billy Bob loves Charlene
In letters 3ft high
And the whole town siad that he should have used red
But it looked good to Charlene
In John Deere green
John Deere green
Bye
Monday, February 02, 2004
Well, Monday morning is upon and I can honestly tell you that I am less than thrilled about it. First of all...I do not like Mondays...they are too long and I started too early. Well...the good news for the day is that my second class for the day has been cancelled, so I get to go home early...like a good 4 hours early...not to shabby at all.
But the bad news for the day is that my beloved cat Silky (for those who have met my cats, its the black one)...well she died this morning. She was 14 years old, and was never a very healthy cat. But she was still my cat and I am going to miss her like crazy. What makes me feel worse is that Mocha (the grey one) is now alone in the basement, but he stayed with her all night and was still there in the morning when my brother found her...you may all think I am a little crazy to be getting all worked up about a cat...but she was a member of my family, and I loved her.
Okay, so here's the scoop on last nights television schedule...I actually sat through the entire Superbowl...mainly because I was waiting for Survivor All Star to start. But yeah, the half-time show was horrible...not only was it not my type of music...(Janet Jackson, Nelly and P.Diddy) but then to make a bad show worse by brining out Justin Timberlake???? Not cool...and then he pulled off Janet Jackson's shirt...and she wasn't wearing anything underneath...yeah there be some nudity there. At least, they apologized on national television this morning...apparently that wasn't supposed to happen.
CAUTION: If you missed Survivor All Stars last night and would prefer to watch it yourself on TUESDAY NIGHT...then DO NOT read this next section...it gives away who got kicked off and what all happened...so if you don't want to know...skip to the next section.
Okay, Survivor last night, it was interesting...not as great as I thought it was going to be...but I now have a clear memory of why I liked and disliked people during their actual shows...the interesting twists of having a polluted water source and not having fire are good...I especially like the fact that they can't take their torches back to camp with them until they have made fire themselves. That was funny for me. So, not only are they all scheming and such, they are all thirsty...and my goodness...who's idea was it to put Boston Rob and Sue on the same team...I see problems there....But let me tell you...Boston Rob has this habit of making me laugh his line of "She's beautiful, obviously; any idiot can see that. But I'll keep my word no matter what to her. I trust her; I don't think she's going to screw me, " well...that takes the cake right there. Oh boy, I fell off the couch laughing. Okay, the immunity challenge was excellent...so complicated and they were thirsty...so it was messed up...but Chapera and Mogo Mogo won the immunity which sent Saboga to the tribal counsel tree house...and unfortunately Rupert and Rudy sided with the deceitful Jenna L and Jerri and kicked off poor Tina...do they not realize the benefits of going against a former winner in the final two? I hope that Rupert and Rudy smarten up and get rid of those two girls.
Okay, today's is Monday...so the JENELLE SONG LYRIC OF THE DAY is "Manic Monday by The Bangles
Manic Monday
The Bangles
Six o'clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal blue Italian stream
But I can't be late
'Cause then I guess I just won't get paid
These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made
It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my funday
My I don't have to runday
It's just another manic Monday
Have to catch an early train
Got to be to work by nine
And if I had an air-o-plane
I still couldn't make it on time
'Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out what I'm gonna wear
Blame it on the train
But the boss is already there
It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my funday
My I don't have to runday
It's just another manic Monday
All of the nights
Why did my lover have to pick last night
To get down
Doesn't it matter
That I have to feed the both of us
Employment's down
He tells me in his bedroom voice
C'mon honey, let's go make some noise
Time it goes so fast
When you're having fun
It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my funday
My I don't have to runday
It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my funday
It's just another manic Monday
Wow, I never realized that was what the song really said...yikes, oh well...too late...most of the song applies though...okay later
Sunday, February 01, 2004
Okay, are you all ready for this...there are two things that bug me a whole heck of a lot in this world. The first is stupid computers who decide to freeze after the person in question (ME!) has spent the last hour of her life writing a really long and really good BLOG! I can't even begin to re-write it, so I am not even going to bother trying. The second thing that bugs the crap out of me is people who are assigned to do things and then THEY DON'T DO THEM!!! Twice today, I was rushing around filling in for people who weren't there. Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a fairly understanding individual...you can disagree, I don't really care. But I would have completely understood if the people had something else to do, as long as they called someone else to fill in, instead of not showing up and hoping that someone will be kind enough to do it. I would have been inclined to just have ignored it and moved on with my life, but in both areas today, they revolved around the children in my church...and people wonder why all of our young people are switching churches...maybe if my church woke up and looked around they would realize that they are the ones causing it.
Okay, before I manage to make myself angry all over again, I am going to switch subjects. Tonight is the premier of Survivor All Stars, I am very excited about this...I just have to wait for the stupid Superbowl to end...sorry to anyone who likes the Superbowl...it is just not my thing, grown men, running around the field in tight pants and jumping on each other is not MY idea of a sport...call me crazy though. But yeah, Survivor tonight, should be good, some of the old contestants returning for a second chance...it will be GREAT!! I really want Colby or Rupert to win...not JENNA M, I will stop watching if she makes it any further than the 2nd round.
For those of you who care...on One Life to Live...the music box killer struck again, and his victim appears to be Natalie Vega (nee Buchanan), not sure if she is actually dead or not...but it doesn't appear to be a good thing.
So, before I go on to my song lyrics...I want to mention a very nice thing that happened today at church because it made me feel happy and that I mattered to the people in my church for what I do. I was told that I was a natural up in front of the church and that they appreciated all the hard work that I have done in the past few years. One even went on to say that I would make a wonderful Minister's Wife...nice eh?
Okay, I have typed enough, both my eyes and hands are getting tired...so I will close with my JENELLE'S SONG LYRICS OF THE DAY!!! Today's Song is "I Wish You'd Stay" by Brad Paisley. I heard this song this summer at Camp Hermosa when I worked on staff because let's face it...the only station you get in the back field is a country one...so you grow to love it...it doesn't help that my co-worker Jelma (if you are reading this, love ya!) loves country music, so we listen to it in the shed, and when I would go into the kitchen to visit Lauren (who I adore too) and if she was getting her way, country music was played, also in the craft cabin by Jen Ford (you are awesome) But yeah, it is this great song that makes me cry every time I hear it. This guy's girlfriend is leaving town (I think they may have had to break up) and he doesn't want her to go...read it, it is beautiful...
I Wish You'd Stay
Brad Paisley
I talked to my sister in Memphis
And I told her you were movin' to town
Here's her number
She said she'd be glad to show you around
I left a map on your front seat
Just in case you lose your way
But don't worry, once you reach Sallisaw
It's all Interstate
I know you need to go
But before you do I want you to know, that I
Wish you the best
And I wish you nothing less
Than every you've ever dreamed of
And I hope that you find love along the way
But most of all
I wish you'd stay
I figure just before sundown
You'll be in West Tennessee
And by then
Maybe I'll understand why you had to leave
I know that you've done some changin'
And I know there's no changin' your mind
And yes I know
We've been through this a thousand times
I'm sorry for still holdin' on
I'll try to let go and I'll try to be strong and I'll
Wish you the best
And I wish you nothing less
Then every thing you've ever dreamed of
And wish that you'd find love along the way
But most of all
I wish you'd stay
Yeah, every thing you've ever dreamed of
And I hope that you find love along the way
But most of all
I wish you'd stay
I wish you'd stay
Please stay
Thats it guys, there is no more song, I think it is one of the saddest songs ever, the best plea I have ever heard to get someone to stay. Oh country music...it gets me right here sometimes...you can't see me, but I pointed to my heart.
Later,
Jenelle
