Oh wow, it has certainly been a long time since my last post...but do not fear my readers, I am still here...busier than ever, but still here...this is going to be an update as to what has been happening in the past few months since I posted:
~As you all know, I got married back in October, I posted about that, we are living in Cambridge in a little apartment by the river. It is perfect for us...we might not have that much furniture and such, but I had a Christmas tree...so I was estatic.
~An acquaintance of ours died in early December. Her name was Shelly Emmott (Paterson). We knew her from encounter and BCOQ events and through Craig. She was in a car accident on her way to work and died on the scene. She was only 29, recently married (2003). It was heartbreaking. At her funeral there was well over 500 people. I cried a whole lot.
~I work for the YWCA here in Cambridge, we were lucky enough to close for the entire week between Christmas and New Years.
~Christmas was hectic...we went everywhere this year.
-Christmas Eve, we went to Mum and Steve Pinney's...we ate fondue, went to church and hot tubbed...Andrew/Wendy, Ross/Ainsley came the next day where we took a family photo:

-Christmas Day we went to Mom and Daddy West's house for dinner with the whole gang Jen/Rob and Jon/Christine.
-Boxing Day we stopped by Dad and Liz's place for half and hour to drop off a present...we left just as Andrew, Wendy, Ross and Ainsley arrived. From there we had to make an appearance at my Grandma West's place for Christmas dinner, where the entire West Clan was there...we had some fun.
-Then we got to come home...yay!!!
~My sister Jen and her husband Rob announce that they were going to have a baby in August! I am so excited, I am going to be an AUNT!!!
~On December 30th, Graham, Ames and I went to Niagara Falls for the day, we hit the outlet stores, some wax museums and Ripley's before heading down to the falls for fireworks and Christmas lights...I was a little disappointed by the Christmas lights, they were no way as impressive as I was lead to believe...maybe it would have been better if there was some snow...hmm... Then we hit the Hersey Chocolate store before buying me the biggest Coca-Cola we could find.
~New Years Eve was spent just the two of us this year, we watched the ball drop and drank champagne (oh...sparkling wine)
~Now I have been back at work for a few days, back to being tired. Graham is back at school part-time. He is at Mac taking his MDiv. and working full time still! Yikes
~That is a basic outline of my life at the moment...I need to go now and convince my husband to come to Ikea with him.
Peace out!
